Hybrid

Hybrid systems combine different technologies to enhance reliability as needed or to make better use of local renewable resources. For example, in many instances wind and solar power can be integrated with one another to provide increased access to energy resources. Another example might consist of combining a biomass gasification system with a fuel cell. Hydrogen from biomass can be used to make electricity with little or no air pollution. Depending on the needs and circumstances, renewable systems can also be combined with conventional systems such as propane- or diesel-fueled generators or small turbines.

Switch provides a variety of modular hybrid systems that can be rapidly deployed anywhere in the world. They are simple to operate and can provide power under almost any conditions with no fuel requirements. Many of the platforms we provide can incorporate a variety of technologies in combination and are readily expandable in capacity. Such systems provide exceptional performance in portable or remote applications.
